These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the AlpRoute website and application at alproute.com (the “Service”), operated by Sema Volkan (sole proprietor), Türkiye (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
AlpRoute helps campervan and motorcycle travellers discover overnight spots, service points and places of interest across Europe, plan routes, and share information with other travellers. Place information comes from open data sources (such as OpenStreetMap) and from our community.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You may use your account on up to 3 devices at the same time; signing in on an additional device may end the session on the least recently used one.
When posting photos, comments, price reports, “Nearby travellers” messages or any other content, you agree not to:
We provide tools to report and block other users and content. We reserve the right to review, hide, or remove any content and to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
You keep ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute that content within the Service so that it can function (for example, showing your photo or comment to other travellers). You are solely responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to share it.
Some features require a paid “Pro” membership (currently €24.99 per year, or €4.99 per month). Pro is sold and processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited, United Kingdom), which acts as the Merchant of Record (the seller for the transaction) and handles payment and applicable EU VAT. Billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Place information (locations, prices, services, whether overnight stays are allowed) is provided by the community and third-party data sources and may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. We do not verify listings and give no warranty as to their accuracy.
You are responsible for confirming, on site and in advance, whether parking or overnight stays are legal and permitted at any location. Rules vary by country, region and property. AlpRoute is a discovery tool, not legal or travel advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on place information, from your use of the Service, or from interactions with other users. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.
The AlpRoute name, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors. Map, imagery and place data are provided by third parties under their own licences (including OpenStreetMap contributors). You may not copy or resell the Service.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence, and nothing here removes those rights.
If you download AlpRoute from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to the applicable store terms. Where required, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. The relevant store — not Apple or Google — is responsible for the Service unless stated otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
