This policy applies to our paid digital subscription services: AlpRoute Pro for travellers (currently €24.99 per year or €4.99 per month) and AlpRoute Camp Pro for campsite businesses (an annual subscription — €199.99 per year; launch offer: €49.99 per year for the first 100 verified campsite owners, locked in for as long as the subscription continues uninterrupted). Both are sold and processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited, United Kingdom), which acts as the Merchant of Record and handles payment, EU VAT and refunds on our behalf.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.
AlpRoute Pro is a digital service that starts immediately after purchase. Under EU law, if you ask us to start the service right away and acknowledge that you will lose your 14-day withdrawal right once it has fully begun, the withdrawal right no longer applies.
At checkout you will be asked to give this consent through a separate, clearly-worded checkbox — it is never bundled into the “Buy” button. If you do not tick that box, your 14-day withdrawal right is preserved and delivery/activation may be delayed accordingly.
To withdraw or request a refund, contact us at contact@alproute.com with the email used at purchase. Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, refunds are processed through Paddle according to its standard process; we will help coordinate your request.
AlpRoute Pro is offered as an annual or monthly subscription, and AlpRoute Camp Pro as an annual subscription. You can cancel either at any time using our online cancellation page (no sign-in required) or by email; cancellation stops future renewals, and your Pro access remains active until the end of the current paid period (the year or month you have paid for). You will be reminded before a renewal where required. For Camp Pro launch-offer subscriptions, the discounted price applies for as long as the subscription continues without interruption; if the subscription ends and is later restarted, the then-current standard price applies.
Outside the statutory withdrawal right, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis (for example, technical issues that prevent you from using Pro). Contact us and we will try to find a fair solution.
AlpRoute Camp Pro is designed for campsite operators and is purchased for business purposes (managing and promoting a verified campsite listing). Because it is a business-to-business service, the statutory 14-day consumer right of withdrawal described in Sections 1–2 does not apply to Camp Pro purchases. Renewals and cancellation work as described in Section 4, and discretionary refunds under Section 5 remain available — if something does not work as promised, contact us and we will find a fair solution.
If, in the future, you purchase or manage a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those purchases are subject to the refund and cancellation policies of Apple or Google, and requests must be made through them.
